Here are some details to assist with troubleshooting these tickets. 

If their contact information is correct in PS and their cell phone number is labeled ad mobile, then we need to check their text message status in SM with the SMS Status Report. 

Log in to SM and navigate to Report>Other>SMS Status
  • Enter their phone number and choose “Search for Single SMS.”
  • The status field will indicate their current status for text alerts. The modified date will indicate when this status was set. 
    • The SMS Status is set at the global school messenger level. In most situations, the individual opted out of alerts when they were associated with another school district that used SchoolMessenger. 
    • To opt back in, direct the individual to send “Y” to 67587. This will change their status to opt-in.
