Step 1: Navigate to digitalid.glenbrook225.org

The Digital ID web app is accessible from home or school on a computer or smartphone.

When navigating to the Digital ID web app on a mobile device, you will be prompted to add a shortcut to your smartphone's home screen.

Adding a shortcut to your device's home screen will allow you to quickly access your digital ID in the future, even if you do not have cell data or WiFi.

Step 2: Select "Submit New Photo For Review" to get started.

Returning students can proceed to Step 7: Downloading Your Digital ID, unless electing to submit a new photo.

Step 3: Enter Username and Password and select "Sign In"

Students:

  • The username is your student ID number only (e.g., 19700)
  • Password is the student's network password

Staff:

  • The username is network username—this is typically your first initial and last name (e.g., gbrook)
  • Password is the staff's network password

Step 5: Select a Photo

  • Click "Select Photo"
  • Chose "Select an Existing Photo" or "Take a New Photo"
  • Zoom in and/or crop the photo as needed and then select "Submit."
  • Confirm the photo meets the ID Photo Requirements.

ID Photo Requirements

  • ID Photo Requirements
  • Take a photo that is a headshot of the individual, not a group or family photo.
  • Choose a solid, neutral-colored background.
  • Use a color picture with no filters applied.

Step 6: Confirmation

After the photo is submitted, a confirmation banner will appear on the screen. The GBN and GBS Deans' Office review student photo submissions daily. Staff submissions are reviewed daily by the safety and security manager.

Once a photo is reviewed, you will receive an email to your Glenbrook225 account. If approved, proceed to step 7. If denied, complete the steps to submit a photo again.

Step 7: Download Your Digital ID

Return to digitalid.glenbrook225.org and select the "Download Your ID" button.

You may be prompted to log in again depending on the length of time since you submitted your photo or you are accessing the web app from a different device.

Your ID will automatically appear. From this screen, you have options to:

  • Display the back of your ID
  • Display a large copy of your ID's barcode
  • Access additional options, including downloading an updated version of your ID, submitting a new photo for review, or signing out of the Digital ID application
We recommend not to take a screenshot of your ID. Using our Digital ID web app ensures your ID is automatically updated.
