Occasionally when attempting to connect to Public Wi-Fi Hotspots at places such as Starbucks or a hotel you might encounter this error.
This is a fairly common issue.
When this occurs a little workaround I would try is to open up the Safari browser and try to search for something on Google. You can simply type "test" in the address bar and hit enter. That should be enough to trigger the network and computer to behave properly.
Another thing that works is to bookmark the following URL into the bookmarks bar of Chrome.
Clicking on that (Or typing it in) should also trigger the Wi-Fi to connect properly.
