Skyward has given you this error because you are not in the current fiscal year. This probably occurred inadvertently and we are working with the Skyward team to change this behavior. The biggest indication you are not in the current fiscal year is the red banner at the top of the Skward page.

Fortunately it is easy to change fiscal years.

Here are the steps:

1. Navigate your web browser to,

2. Log into Skyward using your Glenbrook Network Credentials

3. Within the Employee Access environment, select Request Time Off

4. At the top of the screen, locate the Fiscal Year selection menu, and select 2018-2019 (Current)

5. Selecting the current fiscal year will associate the correct work day calendar with the absence request.
