Yet Another Mail Merge is a Google Spreadsheets Add-On that can be used to create mail merges via Gmail. If Yet Another Mail Merge is not already in your Add-On list, please go to Get Add-Ons to add it to your list.

Prepare Your Communication

  1. Have a spreadsheet ready with emails and any other information

  2. Draft an email with the merge fields included in << FIELD>>

  3. Make sure the draft has a clearly worded subject

  4. TIP: Send emails in batches of 200 or fewer


Run the Yet Another Mail Merge Add-On

  1. Go to Add-Ons → Yet Another Mail Merge → Start Mail Merge

  2. Enter the Sender Name you would like to appear.

  3. Select the email template for your mail merge. The email template can be a Gmail template or a draft email.

  4. Check Track emails opened, clicked or bounced if you want to track emails

  5. Click Send me a test email to confirm your setup.

  6. Click Send Emails.


View Tracking Report


The Tracking Report will appear immediately after you start your mail merge. If you close the Tracking Report and want to return to it at a later date, click on Add-ons > Yet Another Mail MergeOpen Tracking Report.
