Several custom applications can be found in "Company Portal", formerly called Managed Software Center. The icon for Company Portal can be found on the desktop. These applications are not part of the basic preparation for computers but are typically department specific tools. See below for directions on using Company Portal.


Windows: Using Company Portal

Company Portal can be used to install department and other custom software. 


  1. On your desktop, double click on the Company Portal icon.

  2. On the left hand column on the next window click on the icon called Apps.

  3. On the View choices, pick the center icon to see available software in list form.

  4. Click on the application that you wish to install and click on the install button that will appear in the next window. The application will begin to install. Follow prompts to complete installation.  Note: Many applications are large and take quite a bit of time to install; be sure to install at a time the you can leave your computer on until installation is complete. 

  5. Most software installers will add a shortcut on the desktop.  If they do not, use your search window to find the desired application.
